Two 36” AL floating pumps type were installed to increase the established capacity in the main pump station of a 500-hectare shrimp project. With these floating pumps, the use of inefficient Slanted axial flow pump was eliminated. Also, due to the advantage of the floating pump being able to pump with fluctuating tides, they increased the number of hours available for daily pumping.
